I didn't find any information on Dialogue Systems compatibility with Bolt. Can Dialogue System be used with it?

Hi,

The Dialogue System works fine in a project that has Bolt, but it doesn't provide any Bolt-specific integration yet. (That's under consideration for adding to the roadmap.) The Dialogue System itself is designed to work without needing to do any scripting.

If I only needed a bit of dialogue for some story flavor I'd have no problems and I could live with the C# implementation but what I need is for the Dialogue System to communicate directly with Bolt to set or synchronize variables as well as trigger flow graphs or finite state machines on all types of conversations events. Unfortunately, I can't do that currently as both systems exist independently as you know.

While I appreciate how powerful and versatile Dialogue System is, Bolt is something I need no matter what. Which is why I'll have to create my own albeit basic dialogue system for now. Thank you for considering official Bolt support, I hope it'll happen someday.

I just got another request for Bolt support, so expect a support package in the near future.

Hi,

It's planned for the version 2.0 release or shortly thereafter.
