THANK YOU For helping my dreams of creating a video game become a reality. I’ve been using unity for several months and I’m learning but still don’t have the programming knowledge for many things. I’ve been using this product as a switchover and completing my current game from/with another powerful and highly useful asset but guess what…the full-featured nature (especially quest system and cross-3rd-party-integration) of this product IN ALL RESPECTS for creating my action adventure games, the detailed and very clear usage and programming documentation, super video tuts and 3rd-party integration has allowed me to use it as my FIRST-CHOICE CORE asset and then integrate with the other if I deemed it necessary. The support is stellar as well. I’m dead serious about this product being in a completely different upper highest class, a true blessing for artist/producers and so so coder like me. I have decided to use this product for all of my games now and into the foreseeable future. Artists/producers (even hard-core coders) dream about immediately useful assets like this. This system does pretty much everything you could want it to and more,plus it is customisable in every way so you can make it your own.When a product has this many features it’s bound to take a little bit of getting used to,but once you’ve got the basics you’ll be whacking out awesomeness without a second thought.A solid product with the most detailed documentation I’ve seen for any product on the asset store and the creator is super helpful.

Successfully integrated with RPG Kit 2.0.9 using NGUI 3.6.4 Pro (upgraded from NGUI 2). Developer was very helpful with this difficult implementation.

Pixel Crushers doesn’t just give you a quality dialogue solution; they give you integration support as well. Many assets are offered on the Asset Store with the expectation that integration in a project is entirely the responsibilty of the purchaser. A basic scene is provided and technical support would be available if there are any issues with the provided example scene. Maybe they include Playmaker and NGUI 3 support. Not the case with Dialogue System. Many popular kits from the Asset Store are supported, including documentation, video tutorials and most importantly timely support in the Forums.

You really get an amazing value for your money with this asset. Sure it’s a Dialogue System but the amount of extras is staggering – you get a flexible sequencer (which can actually be used with uSequencer), quest system, LUA scripting, lots of different component scripts (triggers), tools and support for all other major assets (Daikon, Playmaker, NGUI). There’s even a fully fledged 3D space marine model you can use in your games. Support is great, documentation is very thorough.

This is a very high quality, well documented, and powerful dialog system. I have used several of the others in this category and each has their weaknesses and strengths but overall usability and versatility of this system is in a class of its own.

Make sure you look at the work that has gone into the documentation alone. If all assets were this well documented our lives would be much better.

If your concerned about support – no need. Fast responses from the author and clear and concise answers to the questions I have posed.

This dialogue system is by far the best one available on the Asset Store.

It comes with vast amount of different uses and features and a lot of examples and integration packages to make it work with other popular assets such as NGUI or uSeq in no time. Documentation is rich and all scripts are commented and summarized in a clear way which helps a lot while working with the system.

I’m using this asset with Chat Mapper and together they are awesome environment to write and test interactive dialogue. The implemented LUA system seems very powerful but so far I was only able to scratch the surface of it.

Since I had some questions regarding specifics of integration this system with my current project I had contacted the developer and he’s a very nice person, replies are very quick, helpfull and straight to the point.

This is by far one of the best purchases I’ve made on the Asset Store.

This is an amazing asset at every sense. It has a small learning curve but once you get the hang of it, creating dialogues is a breeze. The asset has a lot functions; has its own quest system and variables, a dedicated save system and Lua scripting support. Don’t be alarmed by the word “scripting” though, it takes you few hours to learn the syntax and you’re good to go. The examples provided with the asset are quite adequate, make sure you study them before you jump into creating dialogues.

The asset also has NGUI, Playmaker and uSequencer support which is actually why I chose this asset over the other similar ones. It works great with Chat Mapper software but if you don’t want to go down that road, the asset has its own dialogue editor which is very easy to use. You can also create different styles of dialogues, from adventure games to Mass Effect type dialogues with quick time actions.

The developer was very quick to respond to an issue and very helpful. In short, this asset was $50 well spent. I’d recommend it to anyone who needs a solid dialogue system in their game.

Very powerful and customizable conversation engine, that seems to be able to cope with pretty much everything one can think of. Working with the developer has been very effective and fun and I’m sure that the system will develop further if/when uncovered needs arise.

This package has so much more to it than been a conversation engine alone. I especially value its additional use as a quest engine, its ability to run LUA scripts, serialization tools, localization support, barks, the list goes on. Its internal data storage can store all kinds of additional data as well.

It ships with nice polished UIs to get you started and the documentation is already on a good level. Very valuable to me is also the support for Playmaker actions, uSequencer and Daikon Forge GUI. For Windows users, the additional bonus is the ability use the external Chat Mapper tool, but its own editor is still easy enough to work with. If you need a dialogue/quest engine, Dialogue System is very easy to recommend.

This one of the fundamental assets in Asset store if quests/dialogue is needed in your game. It has great functionality, wide third party support, excellent tutorials and very complete documentation. Code is also well commented. Besides dialogue and quest system, this has also save/load system!

Product is updated regularly and customer support is unbelievable.
